HYFTF filming process

when filming our Have You Fed the Fish project, we came along some technical issues, this included one member of our group being unwell, and later on, one member wearing a different outfit when we had to re shoot some scenes. to combat this later issue, we filmed his feet walking in and out instead of his full body so the scenes could be more coherent. another issue we had was personal issues, as we were filming throughout the school day, so people were coming up to us and distracting us, or making us laugh, meaning it took longer to film.

we also had never used a filming camera like the one we had used before, so it took a while adjusting and learning how to film, as there were lots of shots facing the floor or filming when we were unaware, but we caught on soon enough.

another thing we encountered was when filming in the darkroom it was very dark, too dark to film effectively, so we had to use our phone torches which was difficult when I was filming two people, as i had to hold the camera steady, as well as shine the torch light on to them well enough that we still got a dark room effect.

it was really interesting to plan our own interpretation of the script, and fun to see other groups around the school filming and see their interpretation and compare our similarities and differences.
