in the end, we did decide to make some changes to the storyline, as in the original script we had the idea of it being set in a night club, but when it came to filming we changed the story for it to be set at a house party, because that would be much easier to film. furthermore, we changed a scene, from an alley way, to the road outside the house we were filming at. because we were no longer filming at a nightclub, it allowed us to make this change to the scenes.
when it came to adding extra scenes, due to the fact we were no longer filming in a nightclub and changed it to house party we made lots of new establishing shots that we hadn't planned on the story bord, such as the drug taking scenes. we used our phone screens and turned the brightness up to max to create the illusion of colour changing lights.
we filmed on the first day we planned, and then in the new year we filmed on the third of January. however, due to train strikes, it made it hard for everyone to travel to where we were filming, but we pushed through. similarly, on the first day we were filming, it was snowing, so that caused some consistency issues for us, as we knew it wouldn't be snowing when we continued filming. this became prevalent when we were looking back through the footage and saw the snow was visible in a few shots, so we are planning on re-filming those shots in the future.
